Is Stretching Neccesary?

Why is stretching necessary at the end of the workout?

Stretching help to improve the extensibility of muscles and other soft tissues, and to reestablish normal joint range of motion. PAIN COMMONLY LIMITS MOBILITY. Muscle spasm, or sprain, may also be present. Stretching is thought to maintain mobility and reduce spasm.

It’s true that stretching isn’t exactly glamorous, and it probably won’t give you the same rush that a run or HIIT class will.

HOWEVER, you can’t just do strength training and cardio without putting yourself at risk for injury and pain. That’s when stretching comes into play and prevents you from letting you undergo any sort of risk of injury.
